Is ShatouHub official?
No. ShatouHub is an independent, fan-made utility. We are not affiliated with WTT, ITTF, the Olympics, Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, or any team or organization. Everything here is unofficial and public-source-only.
Where does the match data come from?
All event dates, match schedules, and milestone records come from publicly available official sources: WTT event pages, ITTF calendar, Olympic schedule pages, and public ranking records. We link to the original source on every entry.
How do timezone conversions work?
Your browser automatically detects your local timezone. Every countdown and schedule entry shows three clocks: your local time, China time (Asia/Shanghai), and the venue's local time. No data is sent to any server — it all happens in your browser.
Can I submit corrections or new events?
Yes. If you spot an error, have a public-source update, or want to suggest a public milestone, email [email protected]. We review all submissions against official sources before updating.
Where are the gallery photos from?
Gallery images come from credited public sources with permission. Every image requires attribution. We do not repost without permission, and we do not use paparazzi, private, or unauthorized photos. See our full gallery policy on the Gallery page.
What does "Shatou" (莎头) mean?
"Shatou" (莎头) is a fan nickname combining ShaSha (莎莎, Sun Yingsha's nickname) and DaTou (大头, "Big Head," Wang Chuqin's nickname). It refers to their mixed doubles partnership and the fan community around them.
How is the AI Commentary generated?
The AI English Match Companion turns admin notes and public match context into readable English summaries using AI assistance. It is unofficial, may be delayed, and should not be treated as live commentary. Always check official sources for real-time results.
Is this site free? Will it stay free?
Yes, ShatouHub is completely free. No accounts, no logins, no payments, no ads. It is a lightweight static site built and maintained by fans for the overseas Shatou community.
